The most widely used HighThermal Stability ( HTS ) turbo oil. Eastman Turbo Oil 2197 is a syntheticturbo oil of approximately 5 centistokes at 212°F ( 100°C ) and isapproved against MIL-PRF-23699F HTS. It is formulated with aspecial synthetic base stock and additive to achieve the superiorhigh temperature cleanliness required for aircraft engines of thefuture.
