PSF‐1cSt Pure Silicone Fluid is a linearPolydimethylsiloxane composed mainly ofOctamethyltrisiloxane(CAS#107‐51‐7) with a viscosity of 1cSt @ 25°C. Thefluid is clear,colorless and essentially odorless.PSF‐1cStOctamethyltrisiloxane is characterized by its low viscosity, highrate of evaporation,low pour point (‐100°C), low VTC (viscositychange at temperature), low surface tension (highspreadability),and excellent lubrication. In closed systems, it is anexcellent low temperaturebath fluid and low temperature heattransfer fluid.PSF‐1cSt Octamethyltrisiloxane (Trisiloxane) is alsoused in a number of personal careproducts due to its excellentspreading and unique evaporation characteristics. It featuresgoodsolubility in anhydrous alcohols and in a wide variety ofsolvents. In addition, it leavesno residue or build‐up, has atransient effect, and a non‐greasy feel.
