PSF‐2cSt Pure Silicone Fluid is a super low‐viscosity linearPolydimethylsiloxane that is primarily Dodecamethylpentasiloxane(CAS#141‐63‐9). The fluid is clear, colorless andodorless with a viscosity of 2cSt (centistokes) @25°C. PSF‐2cSt Pure Silicone Fluid ischaracterized by its low viscosity, fast rate of evaporation, lowpour point (‐100°C), low VTC (viscosity change at temperature), lowsurface tension (high spreadability), high dielectric strength,damping action at low temperatures and excellentlubrication. In closed systems, it is an excellent lowtemperature bath fluid and heat transfer fluid. PSF‐2cSt(Dimethicone) is also used in a number of personal care productsdue to its excellent spreading and unique volatilitycharacteristics. It features good solubility in anhydrous alcoholsand in a wide variety of solvents. In addition, itleaves no residue or build‐up, has a transient effect, and anon‐greasy feel. Products include: antiperspirants, deodorants, skincare lotions, suntan lotions,cosmetics etc.
