MOLYPAUL 1054 is a silver-coloured, mineral oil-based grease with an inorganic thickener and a special combination of solid lubricants. According to its formulation it is free of silicone, lead, graphite or copper. MOLYPAUL 1054 is suitable as anti-seize agent and extreme-pressure lubricant between slow moving surfaces. At elevated temperatures up to 800°C and beyond, the solids included in MOLYPAUL 1054 have an anti-fretting effect.
MOLYPAUL 1054 prevents seizure of bolted connections exposed to elevated temperatures and aggressive chemical environments. MOLYPAUL 1054 can be used as anti-fretting agent where little relative movement occurs between the moving surfaces. MOLYPAUL 1054 can also be used as a non-drip high-temperature lubricant for regreasable roller bearings in trolley conveyors and chain rollers in hot areas.
MOLYPAUL 1054 can be applied by spatula, puff or lint-free cloth onto the preivously cleaned surfaces.
