PRODUCT: High temperature solid film lubricant DESCRIPTION: Redilube 150 is a high temperature coating composition containing Teflon* (PTFE) in a waterbased phenolic binder. This coating will provide dry film lubrication as well as excellent antistick and water repellence properties at a constant 400°F with a peak temperature of over 500°F. Technical Data: Color: Black or Tan (Special colors also available) Pigments: Teflon* (PTFE) Weight solids, %: 53 ± 2 Volume Solids, %: 45 ± 2 Weight/Gallon: 9.8 ± .5 lbs. Thinner: Water-deionized, 10% by volume max. Shelf Life: 1 year minimum Clean Up: Warm Tap Water VOC: 0.4 lbs. / gal. Application: Apply to a degreased surface that is clean and free of contaminants. For optimal adhesion, blast the surface with 240 to 325 mesh aluminum oxide. Can be applied by spray, dip, or brush. For best corrosion protection, Redilube 150 should be applied over the phenolic primer EXP W149P. Cure: Allow to air dry to touch. The coating should then be cured at 400°F for 12 minutes or the coating can be shock cured from 30 seconds to 1 minute with a peak metal temperature of 500°F. Precautions: Before handling: Read and understand our Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) issued in it’s most recent revision with the product. Make sure old MSDS’s are replaced completely by the revised version. IMPORTANT: Under some processing conditions, this product may release formaldehyde in concentrations great enough to meet the requirements of 29 CFR 1910.1048. See MSDS for further information.
